Wow. Banff is Amazing!!

You are probably getting tired of us saying every place is amazing, but Banff takes the cake.  Bad WiFi at a local pub.  Let me see if I can post some stuff.  The entire focus of the hike was to get to Lake Agnes Tea House.  This place was recommended by our dentist, so it was critical we got there ;-)

1300 feet vertical in 2 1/4 miles.  We hiked to the Lake Agnes Tea House at 7,000 feet. Look it up.  The place had he best tea and cookies ever.

The lake below us, about 1000 feet down, looks fake. But it is not.  It's Lake Louise.  It's blue from glacial melt all around us.

We stopped along the way at Mirror Pond.  But it was not very pretty, so we moved on.  Just kidding.  It was amazing, the most overused word in the blog.

John and Pam took a pose at the falls just a few dozen feet below the Tea House.

One scene was just more beautiful than the one before it.

This was our goal.  We made it.

More good times with Bean at Lake Agnes.  Unlike US National Parks, dogs are permitted on trails in Canadian National Parks.  However, they must be "on leash."  Too bad I lost Bean's leash on the trail.  Ugh.

The Lake Agnes trail terminated at Lake Louise.  This might be one of the most beautiful places on Earth.  This photo of Mary and Pam was after high-fiving for finishing the hike with knees intact.
